KETTLE'S YARD GALLERY

Kettle's Yard Gallery is the modern art gallery of the University
of Cambridge. Around six exhibitions are held in the gallery
every year. The permanent collection contains major works by
artists such as Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, Ben Nicholson and
Alfred Wallis. Kettle's Yard House, the home of the late Jim Ede,
contains works of painting and sculpture, natural objects, furniture,
textiles, glass and ceramics.

CAMBRIDGE DARKROOM GALLERY

Cambridge Darkroom Gallery holds photographic exhibitions and
is a resource centre for the local community. Budding photographers
can take courses in all aspects of photography and computer imaging,
and photographs can be developed using the darkroom facility.

THE FITZWILLIAM MUSEUM

The largest museum in Cambridge, the Fitzwilliam is housed in a fine
neo-Classical buiding on Trumpington Road. The permanent collection
includes antiquities, manuscripts, coins, silver, textiles, armour and other
applied arts as well as paintings and drawings representing an impressive
range of British and European artists. Gainsborough, Constable, Veneziano,
Titian, Veronese, Canaletto, Breughel, Van Dyck and Hogarth are all found
here, alongside Impressionist and twentieth century artists such as Monet,
Degas, Renoir, Cezanne and Picasso.
